Everything You Need to Know Before You Rent from Van Country

Driver’s License & Age Requirements

• Primary renter must have a valid U.S. driver’s license

• International licenses may be accepted by exception only – please call us for details

• Minimum age is 25 for all renters and additional drivers

• Drivers aged 21–24 may be accepted with prior approval

• All additional drivers must:

  • Present a valid driver’s license

  • Provide proof of current automobile insurance

Payment Requirements

• A major credit card is required to secure every reservation

• We authorize the credit card for the full rental amount and/or a $250 security deposit

• Prepayment options include:

  • Cash

  • Wire transfer

  • Money order

  • Cashier’s check

• All additional driver credentials must be verified before delivery—no exceptions

Insurance Requirements

• Proof of current automobile insurance is required for all rentals

• No exceptions. Please have your insurance card or documents ready at pickup.

Optional Coverage: Loss Damage Waiver (LDW)

• LDW is not insurance but protects against non-abuse, mechanical, or accidental damage to the Van Country vehicle

• We recommend contacting your insurance provider to confirm if your policy already includes rental vehicle coverage

Currency, Taxes, & Surcharges

• All transactions are in U.S. Dollars (USD)

• Taxes are not included in advertised rates

• Rentals are subject to a 5% Arlington Stadium Tax

• Trailer towing fees, tickets, and fines are the renter’s responsibility during the rental period

• A $1,000 negligence fee may apply for unreported incidents or unauthorized vehicle use
